The digital whistleblower software hintcatcher previously supported hint reports of whistleblowers in written form. We have now expanded the hintcatcher whistleblower system to include the option of submitting reports via voice recording.
The new feature in detail
The possibility of reporting by voice recording opens up new possibilities. If you activate the option for voice recording by whistleblowers, whistleblowers will have the opportunity to record hint reports on supported devices directly via the reporting office and then submit the report.
If voice recording is activated and a supported device is used by the whistleblower, recording buttons are displayed in the report form:
The use of voice recording is optional. Whistleblowers can still submit a report purely in writing. Enabling this option allows whistleblowers to freely choose between written and verbal reporting.
Case workers receive voice recordings of whistleblowers as a file attachment with the respective whistleblower report.
Enable voice recording capability
By default, the possibility of optional voice recording is deactivated, so that a whistleblower report can be submitted in writing as before.
As usual, you can configure this new setting by yourself in the administration interface of your hintcatcher whistleblower system. You will now find an additional option in the administration interface of your hintcatcher whistleblower system, which you can use to activate the optional voice recording by whistleblowers.

Depending on the setting you have selected, whistleblowers can optionally record a voice message directly in your reporting office instead of a written message and thus transmit a verbal message.
